Overview
The Mardi Himal Trek is a quiet and beautiful trail in the Annapurna region. It is known for amazing mountain views, different types of landscapes, and peaceful paths with fewer people. The trek starts with a scenic drive from Pokhara and takes about 5 days. During the journey, you’ll enjoy the clean and natural beauty of the Himalayas. You’ll walk through terraced farms and green rhododendron forests, with each day showing you something new. The best views come at High Camp and the Upper Viewpoint, where you can see big mountains like Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and even the faraway Dhaulagiri range.
The trail goes uphill slowly, so it’s easier to get used to the higher altitude. Some of the best parts include spending the night in Forest Camp, watching a colorful sunrise at the Upper Viewpoint, and meeting friendly people in traditional Gurung villages like Sidhing. The trek ends with a relaxing trip back to Pokhara. Overall, the Mardi Himal Trek gives you a peaceful walk through forests and mountains, beautiful views, and a chance to learn about local culture – all in one amazing adventure.
